I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
